EVALUATION AND PROMOTION SYSTEM

  1. The uniform system of Assessment and Examination is as per CBSE norms followed from Classes I to X.
  2. The entire Academic Session is bifurcated into two terms:

Term -1 (100 marks)    20 marks periodic assessment + 80 marks for Term-End (Half Yearly Examination.)

Term -2 (100 marks)    20 marks periodic assessment + 80 marks for Term-End (Final Examination).

  1. For the holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities are carried out as per CBSE norms and will be graded Term-Wise on a 3-point grading scale.

     A= OUTSTANDING

     B= VERY GOOD

     C= FAIR

  1. The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and team work are the generic criteria for grading in the following co-scholastic activities:

Work Education (Skill based Activities resulting in services useful to the community).

Art Education (Visual and Performing arts).

Health and Physical Education (Sports /Marshall Art/ Yoga /NCC etc)

  1. The students for Classes VI to VIII are accessed term-wise for Discipline on a 3-point grading scale from A to C.
  1. Class X Assessment structure is bifurcated into 2 parts:

Scholastic Area: 20 marks (Internal Assessment) + 80 marks (Board Examination)

Co-Scholastic Area: Work Education or Pre-Vocational Education, Health and Physical Education and Art Education are graded on a 5-point scale from A to E.

  1. For class XI the whole Academic Session is bifurcated into 2 terms. Each term has 2 Unit Tests and 1 Term-End Examination (Half-Yearly and Final).

PROMOTION CRITERIA (CLASS XII)

  • Clear pass with 33% in cumulative in each subject. The student has to pass separately in practical and theory.
  • There will be 2 Unit Tests and 1 Half Yearly Exam followed by Pre-Prelims, Prelims and Board Examination.
